Bausch & Lomb’s IOL portfolio includes the well established, acrylic, hydrophilic Akreos® family of IOLs, the Akreos® Adapt, Akreos Advanced Optics (AO) and the most recently available lens, the Akreos AO / Micro Incision Lens lens, specifically designed for implantation through a 1.8 mm incision.
The new Stellaris™ Vision Enhancement system, provides optimised power modulations, vacuum or flow fluidic control and custom control software to enhance safety, efficiency and ease-of-use.
Bausch & Lomb's MICS™ Platform is now complete following the introduction of the Stellaris Vision Enhancement
system and Akreos AO / Micro Incision Lens. The MICS Platform forms part of the company's strategy to provide safe and effective 1.8 mm biaxial (B-MICS) and 1.8 mm coaxial (C-MICS) phaco surgery.
